Rama Tandon
Rama Tandon, M.Ed., C.A.L.T.
Rama is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Dyslexia Interventionist with over 25 years of experience working with children with learning differences. Originally from India, she has dedicated her career to supporting students with dyslexia through evidence-based and culturally responsive practices. Rama holds three master’s degrees, including an M.Ed. in Special Education (Learning Disabilities and Emotional Behavioral Disorders) from The University of Texas at Austin. She is trained in Sounds in Syllables, Reading by Design, and Take Flight, and currently serves as a Board Member of the International Dyslexia Association, Austin Branch, where she advocates for literacy awareness and equitable education.
Rama also runs a YouTube channel focused on research-based dyslexia practices, sharing insights and strategies for parents and educators. Outside of her professional work, she loves traveling, cooking, and has been an enthusiastic badminton player for over 10 years. She believes in nurturing confidence, curiosity, and joy in every learner she works with.
