Elendria Molina-Evans

Reading Teacher M.Ed

Elendria entered the education field in 2013 when she started her Masters in Education at Grand Canyon University. She has worked in Mecklenburg County schools in North Carolina where she started as a Reach Associate with kindergarten students for one year. The focus was to collect data in reading to see the progression of small reading groups. From there she taught fourth grade then taught second grade for four years. After she relocated to Virginia, she was able to teach in the Henrico County school district for three years, where she taught third and fifth grade.

During her time in Virginia, she finished her Masters in Reading at Grand Canyon University and added an English Language Learner endorsement. Elendria’s educational background allowed her to reach many students of various nationalities to use her bilingual background who struggle in reading. Her love of reading and teaching students of other languages made her love of reading grow stronger and has been sharing her love with students of all ages. She has now relocated to Georgetown, Texas with her family to continue to teach and share her love of reading at Austin Learning Solutions. Here she hopes to bring more of the reading culture into many households and work with all students.
